How do I get my products evaluated for distribution?
It’s a fairly simple process. First, make certain that any Oregon Agricultural or USDA permit requirements are met. Then, contact us at Eat Oregon First. We will be happy to show you how our business works and what kind of demand we believe there is for your product.

If I use Eat Oregon First for distribution will I lose control of my brand?
No. We are in the business of creating a distribution channel for your product. You will know who is buying your product from us. We ask that you give us an exclusive distribution right for a period of time.

What are the payment terms from Eat Oregon First?
Eat Oregon First is a cash buyer of your product at a pre-negotiated price. We then carry the inventory costs and the costs associated with the distribution and accounts receivable from the Eat Oregon First customers.

What kinds of product is Eat Oregon First interested in?
Beef, poultry, cheese, honey, baked goods, pork, fruits, vegetables, nuts, berries, whole grains, flour, baking mixes and eggs, to name a few. But, if you have something interesting that we need to know about give us a call. If you have product that can be used to make finished products by other Eat Oregon First partner producers (for example, nuts or fruits for baked goods, whole grains that can be made in to flour by our Pintail Flour Mill partner etc) we are happy to make the introductions for you.
